When the weather permits, furniture is provided for the service users and their relatives or friends to sit outside and take in the picturesque scenery.
There is a barbecue area which is used during the summer months by service users and their families. Barbecues are very popular with all ages.

We offer the service users of The Coach House Nursing Home the highest quality of care 24 hours a day in a happy environment. All service users are encouraged to enjoy a normal and as full life as possible, this includes the opportunity to make decisions regarding their lifestyle.

There will be a planned program of care for each person with the involvement of other professionals and family members.

The Coach House Nursing Home is covered by local GP practice. It also has a visiting podiatrist, ladies and gent’s hairdresser, these are extra to fees charged, and when required a physiotherapist.

Residents personal laundry is done on site and is included in the fees. Dry cleaning to be paid for by the resident.

An Occupational Therapist visits the home where they hold an exercise class in the lounge.

The service users exercise their limbs to music, which keeps their limbs supple. This is very popular with most of the service users.

The home is approximately half a mile from Hagley Village and transport is provided free of charge to any service users for shopping trips.

Visiting times at The Coach House Nursing Home are unrestricted up to 9pm.

The Coach House Nursing Home has a non-smoking policy.

Deposits are required to reserve a room.
These are non-returnable, except if on assessment the service user is not
suitable for admission to The Coach House Nursing Home.

If a service user requires hospital attention either as an appointment or emergency their next of kin is required to accompany them between 9 am and 9 pm.
